Program Design Lead - Sambhal
A brief about us :
Involve was founded by IIT Graduates Divanshu & Samyak, who left their placements to build their dream. Through Involve, we are re-imagining education by building agency in school students, targeting 1 million students in the next 5 years. We do that by leveraging a peer learning-teaching-based approach. The approach emanates from our belief in "Kids first" and our key design principles: Co-created with students, Led by the students & participation by choice.
So far, we have directly worked with 22000+ students across India, improving their learning outcomes (39% from the baseline to Endline, maths) and the sense of ownership & leadership with our programs. Our core program of Peer Teaching has students in their formative years of age of 12-16 teacher and mentor their juniors in public schools. We have also seen great improvement in the learning culture of the school, teenage behavior, etc. We are backed by some prominent institutions like the Central Square Foundation, Nudge foundation for social entrepreneurship, Wells Fargo, TFIx to name a few.

Overview of the Role:
You will manage the end-to-end design & monitoring of our Peer-Teaching Program towards Student Agency in the Bhagalpur district working with SCERT, DIET, Block and Cluster level Education department actors & teachers to ensure successful program outcomes for all the students. You will be a part of the team which lays the foundation for the scale of Involve. This will include the following:
1. Design
Use primary and secondary research to identify the needs of the stakeholders
Develop a strategic plan for supporting the field team, aligned to the scope of the project towards achieving student outcomes
Co-creating sessions and trainings for DIET, BACs & CACs
Co-create guidebooks for Headteachers to refer to the implementation process throughout the year
Designing and Identification of different assets (Courses, Case studies, Tools, Projects, Session plans, Handbooks etc.) through various sources
Visiting schools & being part of block review meetings to understand the quality of the program and implementation
Creation of case studies in collaboration with field teams
2. Monitoring & Evaluation
Customize existing tech/systems to analyse the progress of the program (tools to monitor outcomes of various stakeholders) aligned to the program needs
Frequent discussions with the team on the importance and quality of data collection
Managing data from the program, analysing and discussing with the team to make decisions

Overview of the Role:

Leading strategic planning, goal setting and intervention by unblocking bottlenecks, advocating with relevant stakeholders and strong implementation focus for successful project delivery.
2. Manage relationships:
Building and maintaining relationships with relevant district and block-level officials (DM, DEO, DPOs, DIET Principal, Block Education Officers ).
Engaging DEO, DIET, and other govt. Officials by regularly reporting, initiating formal/informal conversations and co-creating action plans with them.
Identifying other CSOs aimed at addressing pressing needs at the school site.
3. Documenting and reporting
Leading efforts to document and report progress & program gaps/challenges every month.
Adapting tools or surveys to evaluate, collect data and document stakeholder (BACs, CACs, teachers, students) response to intervention.
Analyzing feedback from District , Block , and schools to improve the effectiveness of the program and implementation continually
Creating monthly reports for funders (some part of the report) and govt stakeholders

Overview of the Program:
Maargadarshi: Involving students in the process of learning through peer-based interventions.
The program includes facilitating peer-based spaces to provide a safe space for student voices in their learning process. This includes:
Learning the concept of foundation math through peer teaching for students in lower primary grades with a CPA approach. (4th and 5th students teach their junior grades)
Learning grade-specific math content in peer groups. The students explore different concepts through activities, making it easier to understand these topics in their regular classrooms. (Covering grades 6th,7th and 8th)
Overview of the Role:
The person will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of our Maargadarshi Program in respective schools through managing full-time program Coordinators(community champions) to ensure successful program outcomes for all the students. This will include:
1. Implementation (65% of your Ops role)
Create an action plan to implement the Maargadarshi program with Schools
Coaching & coordination with coordinators for respective schools to ensure our program is implemented well
Set up strong processes that enable smooth onboarding of school
Periodic program reflection and course correction to improve the quality of the program
Implementing new pilot projects individually, apart from the core program of peer teaching
2. Manage relationships (25% of your Ops role)
Foster positive relationships with coordinators, teachers, school staff and other stakeholders to get buy-in on change efforts required at the school level
Engaging external partnerships with organisations/people aimed at addressing pressing needs at the school site
Engage corporate volunteers via activities for effective CSR management
3. Documenting and reporting (10% of your Ops role)

Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative individual who will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our messaging across various channels. The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication abilities and a proven track record of successful communication campaigns.
1. Managing Social media, newsletters & blog
Craft compelling and engaging content for a variety of platforms, including press releases, articles, social media, and our website.
Manage and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent messaging.
2. Managing content for advocacy & fundraising
Oversee the creation of assets like program reports, case studies, whitepapers, etc.
Identify areas where these documents can be published and shared with relevant stakeholders, leading to partnerships or institutional funding.
Create creatives for the better outreach of these assets
Curate awards/grant application cycles and follow up on the application.
3. Developing and Managing Campaigns
Implement trends by leveraging social media or other forms of marketing (online/offline)
Engage education stakeholders in conversations around student agency and peer-based learning.
Target to create behavioural change across a small subset of stakeholders we work with and leverage their success to build advocacy
Skills and Knowledge
Excellent persuasive writing and content writing; experience with writing byte size content as well as articles/reports
Strong oral communication
Experience in graphic designing and video editing (Adobe is not a necessity; Canva is a must)
Understanding of content distribution on various social media; SEO experience would be a plus
Innovation & creative thinking to bring fresh ideas to an organization
Proven track record of meeting challenging targets
Proven ability to create magic with content ( story telling ), managing online events etc

Overview of the Role
The person will support the CEO in raising funds for the organisation. They will also be the ones to create proposals, do research, manage applications with CSRs or foundations and manage donor engagement. We are looking for someone who excels at marketing & relationship-building to initiate massive participation and exert influence for the organization. This role will excite you further if you believe in students taking ownership of their learning and want to leverage your communication skills to build support for this cause.
1. Supporting new fundraising
Scout and prepare lists of donors (CSRs, Foundations) that align with the organization's mission
Curate awards application cycles and follows up on the application
Writing & submitting proposals to potential donors/awards
Conducting research on other fundraising opportunities in CSR, institutional landscape etc
2. Managing key funder relations
Organizing and attending non-profit events and networking with relevant stakeholders
Manage existing donors (create and execute donor engagement plans for HNI, CSR, and Foundations)
Work with the program team to prepare project reports, budgets, utilisations, etc
3. Implementing your own ideas based on the possibility of raising funds
Think and execute ideas to expand retail fundraising base for the organisation, including SM marketing, offline events etc
Research and leverage influencers to raise resources for the organisation
Apply If you have:
Excellent written and oral communication (persuasive writing and content writing)
Ability to think logically and make connections between tasks
Track record of bringing innovative, creative thinking and fresh ideas to an organization
1-2 years of experience in fundraising roles in any organisation
Proven track record of meeting challenging targets
Any prior experience in building/managing relationships in any networking/marketing role
Excellent decision-making skills, Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
Are okay to work flexible hours.
