We are currently looking to recruit a CDP/ Junior Sous Chef for our client based in Galway city centre. CDP/Junior Sous Chefs are tasked with supervising, training, and inspecting the performance of assigned Kitchen team members along with serving and delivering an exceptional product offering for all our Customers.

This role is ideal for an experienced chef looking to progress and be developed by a knowledgeable Kitchen leadership team

Junior Sous Chefs will support and assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to customers as well as provide support, training, direction, and focus to ensure staff members have continued success. They are required to develop an understanding of stewarding processes.


Requirements:

  • Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions.
  • Ability to communicate in English to the understanding of employees and guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety handling.
  • Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals.
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and follow up.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will have training and experience in a high standard food prep and service environment.
