Purpose of the role:

This role requires the candidate to be comfortable in Project Management, driving system or product development, representing the Ireland offices of the company. The candidate will generate new business within the agreed sectors as part of the Ireland B2B Sales team. They will work collaboratively with all the company's functions or departments, with a view to increasing profitability by building strategic partnerships and making strategic business decisions which will drive sales, product offerings and brand awareness.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive growth and generate leads by exploring business opportunities.
  • Project Management

  • Negotiate contracts, proactively driving sales, achieving annual targets and KPIs
  • Respond to tenders with a focus on new business acquisition.
  • Examine risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
  • Proactively review and work within company policies, standard operating procedures, and legislative updates to ensure you are working in line with best practice whilst controlling business risk.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information within the standard reporting tools of the organization.
  • Weekly reporting to Management Team.
  • Defend and proactively grow revenue base in line with customer retention targets.
  • Design and implement a strategic growth plan for the Payroll Software industry.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in Project Management
  • Minimum 5+ years proven sales ability.
  • Self-starter with a strategic, adaptable, approach.
  • Strong and credible verbal and written communication with great presentation skills.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, product driven environment.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of own leads.
  • Strong internal and external networking skills
  • Experience of key vertical markets i.e. finance, telecoms, utilities etc.
