Responsibilities:

Prepare meals for the crew in accordance with established menus and recipes

Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner

Monitor food supplies and order as necessary

Ensure that all food is stored and handled in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

Assist the Head Cook in menu planning and inventory control

Assist in the training of new cooks

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to lift and carry heavy items

Ability to work long hours and in all weather conditions

Ability to work as part of a team
